The results of a campus climate survey show that the majority of respondents across the Dartmouth community feel comfortable. However, some on campus feel the lack of a sense of belonging, said Denise Anthony, vice provost for academic initiatives.

Strengthening the diversity and inclusivity of Dartmouth’s community and accelerating academic excellence were the top priorities at the weekend meeting of the Board of Trustees.
On Friday night students gathered at Baker-Berry Library to receive personalized letters indicating their membership in one of the six new house communities: Allen, East Wheelock, North Park, School, South, or West. The house residential life model is a cornerstone of the Moving Dartmouth Forward plan—designed to transform the undergraduate living experience by bringing more continuity to students’ on-campus living experiences and greater opportunities for faculty-student interaction beyond the classroom.
The College released data today on the number of incidents of alcohol intoxication recorded among undergraduates from the fall of 2011 through December 2015. The data indicate that fewer students received medical attention for alcohol intoxication last year compared to the previous year.
